This is one of three BMX roadbikes that I have made. Notice how the saddle is level with the handlebars. That's because it has a custom seatpost made from a solid aluminum rod. I can have as close to full leg extension as I want which makes it an uncommonly efficient BMX bike. I can ride this thing 20 miles at a go with no problem. Try that on a regular BMX bike. Even with the extra tall seat, it's still great fun on a dirt trail, and when I'm on the
Burke-Gilman trail, there's lots of smiling and waving. I like that!
